A friend has a Dan Wesson .44 mag with a ported barrel. He can't shoot boolits because they will shave in the ports. Will powder coated work? Hope this is in the right spot, thanks in advance.

I have an NOE hp mold in .357 and love it. Keep it HOT. Once I get the temp right and a good rhythm the boolits fall just fine.

For a couple of dollars a stainless steel pot from a thrift store is cheap insurance to avoid a failure. I smelt with the same setup and it works great. Have fun!
