The Sig SP2022 is also a good choice, I have one in 9mm, has a pretty decent trigger and came with tritium night sights, I bought mine used but even a new one is less than $600.

I lube mine with a light coat of white lithium grease.
Is that a Beretta Bobcat? I have one, it likes CCI Velocitors, I tried Winchester high velocity shells in it but didn't have any luck, they need a pretty stout 22 shell to cycle.

I bought my 96 Swedish Mauser around 10 years ago at a garage sale for $90 or $95, shoots beautiful, and I have to agree with David2011, the machine work & overall quality of the workmanship is by...
Nice guns, I have that same mold and they shoot great out of my model 66.

I bought my daughters a Western Auto Revelation single shot .22 at a garage sale for $25, they can put a 300 rd dent in a brick of 22 shells in an afternoon at the range. Keeps them from shooting up...

I have a Carcano TS carbine, fun to shoot and makes a fireball the size of a pumpkin if you shoot it at dusk!

I have one that was my grandpa's, had to put a new ejector in it and replace a few screws & couple other small parts when I got it, Numrich had everything I needed, the gun shoots really nice.

I'm on my 4th one now, always had somebody wanting to buy the ones I had before for too much money but I swear I'm going to keep this one I have now, I'm always on the lookout for another one though....

I don't know about today's rifles but I have a Remington Nylon 66 that is one of the best shooting guns I have and it will feed and shoot any cheap 22 shells I put in it without a hiccup.
I have a soft spot in my heart for any "orphan guns", the more beat up & ugly the better, I enjoy doing small repairs or just cleaning up an old abused gun.

I have a 572 that was my grandpa's, it was missing an ejector and a couple other small parts when I got it, I found the parts at Numrich, it is back in order now and is one of my favorite guns to...

I would recommend the lee 4 die set with factory crimp/post size die for anything you are loading with a match chamber, I have a Sig 1911 that doesn't like to seat cast reloads all the way if I don't...

Those old swedes are wonderful shooters I have one made in 1910 with a threaded barrel, one of my favorite rifles to shoot.
I can't help you with a 45acp load but Herco works awesome with 44 mag, I use 10 gr of Herco with a 240 gr lead boolit, I don't have a chrono but my load data claims around 1000 fps.

I have a 91/30 and an M44, love to shoot them. http://7.62x54r.net/ has a ton of info on all of the different variants of the Mosin Nagant rifle.

I use an small plastic peanut butter jar to catch my spent primers, if I remember right I drilled a 1/2" hole through my bench and into the lid and attached it with two of the bolts that mount the...
I shoot a commander sized Sig 1911 with a bobbed frame, it is more accurate than I am, has a nice trigger out of the box, tritium sights, my only complaint with it is that it's picky about mags, only...

Those are nice rifles, I have one I picked up at a garage sale 6 or 7 years ago for $95, shoots great with almost no recoil, I also have a 6.5 Carcano & two 6.5 Japs so I guess I'm a 6.5 fan too.
I go through a couple bottles of Hoppes #9 a year, I haven't tried very many others, I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it.
