Thank you Sir. Easy peasy. Just what I was looking for. I'm new to the shotgun loading thing. I've been single loading buck and ball with the Load All, but now I'm ready to fill the hoppers and load...

This seems like a good idea, kind of value added substitute for Ballistol.
Howdy folks,
Quick question, how does one empty the hoppers on your Lee Load All loaders when you're done with a batch of shells? Is there a quick easy way, or do you turn them over and dump them?...
Yah, now that seems kind of fishy to me. They even had all kinds of #11 caps too.
It says at the bottom of the page they take Visa, Master and offer cod. No brick and mortar address though, that always makes me nervous.
Forum: Black Powder Cartridge
Yep, don't load the pellets into a cartridge. Grind them up and load them as loose powder in the 50/70, or pass them on to someone with an in-line muzzle loader. Maybe they would make good...
Forum: Black Powder Cartridge
Not only what Hodgdon says in print, but never, ever, EVER, allow a gap between black powder and the projectile when loading a muzzle loader or cartridges. Serious bad things will happen.

I'll be following along on this. I've been loading .575 rb's in the trap commander wad as pictured with BR-5 powder. Doing OK with it out to about 35 yds. I will say some of the powder charges listed...

I have a S&W mod 915 police trade in that I'm real happy with. It shoots my cast loads just fine.

Just buy the Loctite 308 Black Max and get on with life. It's made for this type of use and gun smiths use it for a sight adhesive. Removable with heat if necessary.

A free hazmat deal just popped up at MidSouth Shooters for purchase of powder/primers over $99.00 bux.

Never bought the moulds, but I did look at the web site. What is the purpose of his 'X-flyer" .725" raised groove round ball?
It looks like the answer to a question no one ever asked.

Wow! Just like that? I'm headed out to the garage to size some boolits right now. Hopefully a new pistole will appear....

My Dan Wesson .22 will lead the forcing cone. Once it gets bad, I pick it off with a dental type 90 deg. pick. It usually comes off in one big piece.
Easy peasy in my case.

I did basically the same thing. I sold a mint 1958 Win. mod. 70, 30-06, and replaced it with a Weatherby Vanguard 30-06. Can't really say I'm glad I sold it, it was a fine rifle and a joy to look at....

Not needed imho. I've put hundreds of rounds through my Garand wearing a tee shirt. It's a heavy rifle and the action absorbs a lot of the recoil.
