I am using Saeco 352 mold with gas check. 50/50 wheel wt./soft lead and sized .359 with a dose of BLC2 is working great for me............Joe

I have two main elk rifles. One is a Browning pre 81 BLR in 358 with a scope. The other is a Browning 1895 in 35 Whelen with open sights. I love the 35's.........Joe
I have used 10 gr. of unique with good accuracy...........Joe

I am over the 60 year old mark but still sell guns and usually regret it.

Compared to most forum's "for sale" boolits seems to have very few guns. Lot of lead, brass, and reloading equipment but very few guns. I have a gun I would like to sell, and I feel it is a good fit...
I shoot a lot of 240's with 5.8 unique. The older I get, the more my hot loads are coming down.
A year ago I would have said the 45-70, but since I started working with cast in the 358 Winchester, I am going to change my mind.

My 358 is my main elk gun and I am looking at a 223 now.
I also have a Galco that wear as a cross draw with my 44. I have gone to a cross draw on all my holsters......Joe

If you build a flat pin and mold 350 grain bullets to hunt the big stuff with, where penetration is important. Then use the hollow point for deer and the smaller critters.................Joe

Has anyone had Jes Reboreing do a rifle? Are you happy, and how do they shoot? For cast boolits should I go with 3, 4 or 5 groove cut rifling? Thanks Joe

I have also used a center drill on a lathe. The center drill does not fill up with lead like a drill bit.

I talked to Jes last night and he will bore out to 35 Whelen but will not do the improved. Has anyone had him bore a rifle? How do they shoot?

Does anyone know a good gunsmith to put a new barrel on a browning 1895? It is a 30-06 and I would to have a 35 whelen improved. I am thinking about a 20" or 22" barrel with a 1 in 14...
