Bible software can be a great tool, though it isn't for everyone. And there are different types of software depending upon what is needed.
I work full-time as a content developer for BibleWorks....
Thank you for all the information, everyone. I was surprised to see somewhere (I don't remember where) that Hodgdon claimed that H-4895 was a very popular powder for cast boolit use, but I couldn't...
I am having difficulty finding loads for H-4895 with the 309-150 F Lee boolit in a 30/30. I am trying to obtain between 1800-1900 fps. Is anyone using a load that meets these specs that is an...

Hi Folks,
What OAL are you using with the Lee 113 and 120 grain boolits in an M1 Carbine?
Thanks!

Perhaps it is actually Lake Sibley. See the following link: http://www.kshs.org/p/kansas-historical-quarterly-defense-of-the-kansas-frontier-1866-1867/12554

I used an oal of .980 for it to feed in my Kel-Tec PF-9.

Thanks for all the info, folks. That is helpful to me. I will try a small batch of 20-1 and see how it sizes and shoots. Maintaining boolit size will be an important thing-thanks for that reminder! I...

I have the Lee 120gn TC boolit mold that I cast for my 9mm. The boolit drops about 125 to 130gn. For a velocity of roughly 1050fps, what alloy would you recommend? I would like to have an alloy that...
I have a Lyman mold that has "LW" after the number. I think the L stands for "long", as it is a little longer in the nose than another of the same mold. I don't know what the "W" means, though, and...
Hi Folks,
Thanks for the info. 338RemUltraMag contacted me about some samples. For the record, the checks that are not staying on are not from anyone on this forum. I don't know where the problem...
I just bought a 22 Bator mold for my stepdad to cast boolits for the 22 Hornet. He purchased some aluminum gas checks made out of .010 material. The boolits cast beautifully with full fill-out, but...

I just sorted some COWW and used a sidecutter to test for zinc weights. Some COWW were very soft, and cut easily. Some COWW were so hard that I couldn't cut them.
The confusing ones were the ones...
Thanks, Jon. That is helpful.
Anyone else have some pet loads with the 22 Bator in the Hornet?

What are your favorite loads for the 22 Bator boolit in the 22 Hornet?
The major use of this load will be for coyotes. While I am interested in all your favorite loads, I would be especially...

Wow, what a tough crowd! :-) The spoon is nothing special so I won't use it. I figured if anyone would know if there was a safe way to cleanse the spoon, someone here would know it. Nothing lost by...

I guess that does make sense, Popper. I do want the boolits to expand, though, so it would need to make the boolits softer. I am surprised at how much of a difference there was between the boolits,...

UPDATE
My stepdad ran another test, this time in soaking wet phone books. We used two different boolits--311440 and Lee 309-150-f. Both boolits were shot in a 30/30, with 22 grains of IMR-4198....

I received a silver-plated spoon from a previous caster. He used the spoon to stir his lead. Is there a way to clean the spoon so that it can be returned to table use?
Thanks!
