My 357max Contender shoots 158,180 grain and 190grain Ranch Dogs very good.I have no idea why its shoots all of them but I ddon't care either.

My 357max rifle Handi likes 158 grain jacketed bullet...

HPs leave at home and use a solid of some sort.I will be in Colorado this fall hunting with a muzzle loader and I just got some 460 grain No Excuses boolits.Big thumpers!

The 357max is a great caliber and I have a 15 inch g2 Contender and a H&R handi rifle in 357max.

theres a big difference between a SSK barrel and a MGM Contender barrel.The SSK barrels do cost alittle more but there are worth the extra $$$$ spent and I found that out first hand a few years ago

100% alox works great with no leading at 2000fps but i like the idea of the boolits drying faster and not being sticky.If it does not work out I could up the percentage of alox to around 80% and 20%...
