Looking for more information on the shells in the pic. They were mixed in with some 28 ga shells I picked up a few years ago. I've determined that they are from Spain. Any ideas as to value?

The 8x57 data could serve as a starting point, though the difference in capacity between the two cartridges may or at not cause a problem depending on the powder I try. I've also thought of trying to...
I've been trying to find data for this cartridge using cast boolits for some time now. I have half a dozen manuals (Accurate #2, Nosler 6th and 7th, Hornady 7th and 9th, and Speer 14th) that list...

I started my son when he was 6 with a single shot lever action rifle, an old Sears and Roebuck .22. The stock was a little long for him but he's grown into it now.
I've been using the Lee for the last 3-4 years to load 12 and 20ga 2 3/4" lead shot shells and 12ga 3" steel. The press will drop the shot and powder for the lead shells just fine, but for the steel...
Just when I bought a lb of PB to try for low pressure loads in an older 12 GA.
I loaded some snake loads for my S&W .38 Special using .357 Mag brass. I used a minimum charge of W231 a card wad followed by a lubed fiber wad (black powder type) card wad 105 grs of 7 1/2 shot...
Thanks for the offer, however this will probably be limited to data for 2 1/2" shells.
Thanks for the info. I'm considering loading these in a blownout .303 case for a .410 Enfield. I'm sure there will be enough room in the case as from what I have read most wads are a little loose.
1 1/4 oz #7.5 shot over a charge of Longshot with Mod choke for 12GA and 1 oz # 7.5 shot over a charge of Longshot with Mod choke for 20GA.
I have their Advantages Manual but it doesn't have any slug loads listed.
Would bullets cast from a Lyman 410610 work as a suitable slug for a 2 1/2" .410. this mold casts at +/-215 grs which is close to 1/2 an ounce.
My Lyman manual does not have any data for .410...

#2 can be a tough call to either party in the tranaction buying the gun. The original buyer loses the ability to barter but on the other hand he's holding the gun and could notice a someting wrong...

Very nice, wish I could have purchased one of those just wasn't the right time for another press.

Been carrying a knife of some sort almost everyday for the last 20 years in places where not prohibited. The most recent is a Cold Steel Recon 1 my parents gave me before a deployment. I made the...

Just looking at the picture that cartridge doesn't apear to fit that beautiful rifle.
I want to say it's a 35 Whelen.

Initially looking to use one for boolits from these molds a Lyman 358665 RN/FP and an Ideal 35863 DEWC for my .38 Special.
Forum: Casting Equipment
What are your opinions/experiences with these for sizing and lubing boolits? Would you use the lube provided with the kit or buy/make one of the other formulas?
I don't have the funds for a Lyman,...

Thanks for the Lee data. I have to look but I'm sure I have that issue of Handloader stashed away.
