Great story but I have one question, how can you have plenty of backstraps and steak for a year and still have plenty to share with friends with two deer?
I can’t do that with 6.

Same here with the noe.
.357 kills deer easily.
That noe slug punches right thru them and they leak out both sides.

Just depends on the weapon. I have a .308 and a .223 that if they won't give me a .5 inch at any given time, I'm pissed.

With my lever guns an 1.5 group and I'm happy. If you are into the 4 or 5"...

Its not called spot shooting either.

No one should ever shoot at movement, spots of brown or anything else they aren't sure of. Its why I don't enjoy being in the woods with other people.

Al has always been a straight shooter. Has always helped me out and has produced many a fine mould for me.

Ive bought .44 mag, 45-70, 9mm, .357, .38 spcl. from starline.

Have only had one bad batch. The .44 mag breaks in half after two loads of middle of the road 2400 loadings. Pain picking it out of...

Just got mine the other day. Installs easily and quickly. Makes the job so much better. Wonder how I actually cast with the NOE hp moulds before. :grin:
One question, the steel screws on the bottom...

Some of that stuff at lowes/HD is tempered and too hard to cut with the tools available.


Amerimax 68104 is what you want.

Can you try getting your mold a little hotter.
I cant get **** to cast at 350.

NOE is top notch and their customer service is above and beyond.

Where do you get the sulfur for the casting?

Everyone has their thing. Why should it matter so much if it isn't your thing.

The NOE moulds I have rain bullets and I have yet to smoke one.
That being said who cares if you feel you must.

I read all that and laughed about the respirator being the item that was over the top.

I ordered a mold from Accurate Moulds that was supposed to be 300 grains. I use WW with foundry/linotype to bring the hardness up to about 18 BHN.
They cast at 282 grains.
I'm scratching my head.

Thats flocked up.

Guess Ill tell that deer i was eating last night that I'm sorry I inhumanly killed it with my .357 Marlin and lead cast. :sad:

If you have to, size in steps using smaller sizers each time.

Ive decided to get a heavier bullet and go that route. Contacted accurate and asked him about a 300 grainer.

In mine I run the lead about 18 BHN but you could get by with less.

265 grains at 2200
