Tripp Cobra mags ape pretty awesome. That's all I use. They are about the same price as a Wilson 47. The Cobras have a metal bit that hits the slide lock instead of plastic.

I go two different ways for 1911 grips - pretty grips for show, Hogue wrap around grips with finger grooves for serious shooting.

JB Weld is great! But it's really hard on sizing dies. ;)
