From what I've read zinc does wear a mould faster. The best material is steel or ceramic. But I've never seen a ceramic mould.

Ok question for you guys. What do you use for a tin ingot mould? Something that will throw small ingots from 2 to 4 ounces?

My suggestion would be to finger lube about 20 rounds with each lube and check for leading. Be carefull though there are a lot of variables to consider wich will change the leading characteristics...
