When all was said and done, he opened the safe to find...

I have a 721 B in 30/06. Very nice wood on it for sure.
It has a steel buttplate.

I had just made my own expander for brand new cases to be used.
So far, once fired have about the right tension from there on.

Maplewood does a great job. Ed has helped me out, and the product is very reasonable, and, accurate.
I use them in a Chilean Mauser slugged out at .288.
I'd give him a call, or...

All very good information
I'm just curious, what is the biggest shot size in buckshot that can safely be shot through full choke? I've read in the past that too big and it can bulge the barrel at...

Thanks for the replies.
I'm aware the chamber is measured to an open hull, this is why 2.75" is very close in a 2.625" chambered gun.
2.5" was standard in Europe, 2.625" was here. Then in the early...

Yes, thank you. I actually have some of the 1.75" 8shot rounds now. I have only tried them in my old 870, and they shoot nice.

I have an 1889 Remington 12 gauge, grade 1 (steel barrels) and would like to buy some new ammo for it.

Ebay has many bolts among a lot of other parts.
If you do buy a bolt, just make sure it closes tight, or you may have to build the mating surface up a bit to headspace properly.

I have a 30/06 in the B model
I know of a 300 H&H and a 722 in 300 Savage
Pretty neat!
looks like the performance in a rimless 38/200 from yesteryears.
There's been a few single shots on here done like that.

I went with those dies, they work well
Also, use the 7.62 brass as it's better to work with than ones made from 45/70.
To get going I bought the Carcano boolits from Steinel and they seem to work...
