Talk to Lee they will let you upgrade to a Six pack progressive for a fee, the guys on the High Road forum have lots of good things to say about it.

I thought they should have called the App press the Acp. Automatic Coax Press. The app is smooth operating like the coax and wicked fast!

Plain steel would be the least costly. Stainless steel would give the best life but costly. An old cast iron gas valve would last a reasonable length of time.

Don’t confuse melting with solubility. A couple of examples that come to mind are salt for example it’s melting point is about 1400 degrees yet it is soluble on an ice cube. Or antimony its melting...

Don’t do it brass will dissolve in molten lead. Surprisingly aluminum will also dissolve in molten lead. Stainless steel or cast iron work well. Just about all gas valves used to be made of cast iron.

I like your solution it doesn’t compromise the bearing and gives a little more leverage.

I took my handles off and decided I’ll wait for the lee handle. Grinding away all the bearing area doesn’t look like a good idea. Looks like some thought was put into the lever bearing shape with the...

Switch to lee dies every set has a built in stuck case remover.

Just on the lee website and on the bottom of the app page they show a roller handle upgrade. Looks like you get new levers with the upgrade. Don’t know how to post the link maybe someone else can...

Unscrew the bottle from the plastic cap rather than the cap from the shell holder adapter. Tighten the lock ring once and let it be.
Forum: Reloading Equipment
I printed both and the one with the octagon outside worked well. The round one had a error in the file that filled the thread in on the bottle end about an1/8 of an inch. For depriming it worked...

Early on Lee said they did a million cycle test at maximum load and it passed.

How did you size all those projectiles before the app?
Forum: Reloading Equipment
It sizes my 7 mm mag cases with ease. It also has hand clearance like no other press. Because the case is so long I don’t use the case feeder and take off the case feed spring. I am using an unknown...
Forum: Reloading Equipment
Yes the rcbs,Lyman and hornady work my old herters has a different base. If you remove the case feed spring the app has more hand clearance than any press I have. And surprisingly it has more...

Take out the detent when using the old style shell holder and it works just like the new style. I doubt you have high primers causing the jams

25 year old die go to the lee website look up the die set click on parts. I bet the part is free you just pay the shipping and a handling charge.. they are great about spare parts

The brass you are sizing must be new unfired else it would not be hard to enter the case. If it is difficult to push into your brass the case is already ready to reload. Fflare the case add powder...

Check the number of disc springs in your swage tool. There should be 5 and be sure they are stacked like the picture in the instructions. It won’t work with 6.

Lee advised removing the detent on the shell holder retainer will allow correct feeding. Only required on early shell holders. They say the shell holder must turn freely.
