In a handgun, I would imagine that loading two balls like that would severely limit the powder capacity in a revolver. Maybe the author meant a single shot pistol? I can see that being done.

When that happens to me, usually the image is too big. Try resizing the pic, and that should solve your problem.

Look fora used Thompson Center Hawken. They can be had for $4-500.00, and IMO are some of the best charcoal burners around. A good one will last your lifetime, and then some. Good luck!

Your results speak for themselve with the hardcast bullet, of course, but the 1:60 twist is basically for roundballs.

I like the Remora holsters.cheap, sturdy, and they stay put.

Clays is almost like Unique. Should be great in the old thumbbuster. Lots of loads in various manuals.


Just be careful which clays you have. I’m not sure how the manufacturer could have made it...

Best bet would be to call Dillon. They are very helpful folks.

My. choice would be 45/70, because it’s a great cartridge in its own right, and ammo and reloading supplies are (more or less) readily available.
