I had the same problem with my 6" GP100 using Lee 158g rnfpbb boolits I water dropped. Even pusing them hard. Air cooled from that point and leading disappeared.

Like 44man said, they can only be loaded so long. I load to the top crimp groove or they would not fit in the magazine. I load them long for the RH.

21gr of H110 on the Lee 310 with a gc is my favorite load also. Great in my RH and a real thumper in my 77/44.

In revolvers, it's a draw between 357 and 44 mag. In auto, 40 cal, hands down. I can't limit myself to one favorite caliber. I wouldn't have as many guns that way.

They shoot well enough for me at this point. About an inch and a quarter at 25 yards. All I have is Red Dot right now, so I can't load them too hot.
