Sorry for the problems. Hopefully just too soft.
So where'd you get that Lee Hardness Tester stand?

One standout is 158 grain 358665 vs 160 grain 358311. Lyman Cast 4th edition lists the latter with two full grains more of 2400 but less pressure. The bases don’t look much different.
Hi everyone. I’m probably going to embarrass myself here, but why does Lyman always seem to list loads for the 358311 that are above bullets of similar weight? I’m talking about 38 Special and 357...

Has anyone seen a jacketed rubber bullet before? I had several of them but haven’t been able to figure out if this was a factory item or someone got bored.

Man!!! Glad you’re ok. Thanks for the reminder.
I bought the first 5-1/2” Single Seven I saw. I was afraid of all the reports of difficulty loading, but mine indexes the hole perfectly at the gate with no problems whatsoever. It’s always shot well...

My HF tumbler is five years old now. It needed a lock washer to keep from shaking the top loose. No other problems.
I’ve got a couple of thousand rounds through my 642. All cast and the cast majority were +P. It doesn’t seem any worse for wear. Either I got lucky or they’re stronger than they look. Carrying one...
My LCP in a pocket holster fits behind my iPhone in the front pocket of my khakis or slacks.
I use the Arsenal 98 grain plain base in my Single Seven with 2400. It fits perfectly in the cylinder and I’ve been happy with performance. I also have to admit my old 311316 works better at full...

Another vote here for the Spartan. It surprised me how much I ended up enjoying using it. The clearance makes it a joy. I use mine a lot.

Got it. As always, I appreciate the help very much.

Mine is pretty crude, looks like it was made from a hex nut and I'm kind of afraid of it breaking.
After looking around a little, all the Herters ones I've seen have either a post or they have...

I noticed bigger containers of Imperial at the shop the other day and I found that humorous.

Hi Pressman. This is for the Powrgear press. I had it apart, if I remember correctly the ram was unique and not a candidate for replacement. Maybe I need to look again. I've been playing around with...

Does anyone make an adapter so I can use modern shell holders on a press that needs screw on Echo style holders?

I didn't see the comment about Lee dippers qualifying until after I voted. I guess I do need help.

Will do. Just the one shell holder. Pressman, I have a pretty big pile of stuff to clean up, but when I’m caught up I’ll get with you and give you all the info I can.
Also, do you know when this...

Thanks guys. I may actually use it for a dedicated 38 press, I just have to decide if I’m afraid of breaking it. I don’t figure there are many parts out there! The handle turns and raises the ram.

I posted about this once before when I first heard of it, but it's now in my possession and I thought others may find it interesting. It's an H&S Powrgear press. Pressman told me that five were made...
