How were you able to drill the tiny ejection hole straight? I've always read that's one of the most difficult to get it straight and not have the bit walk.

That's a Mity Mite press by Corbin from mid 80's. It's made of Ampco Bronze.

Do you know what the caveats are? I have a lathe & mill so I can make some parts. If the ram is different and the internal punches won't work the same that would be a problem.

Kelblys rifles recommends using an index card wrapped around the barrel when putting a switch barrel in the barrel vise to hold it in. Works well and there's no marks on the expensive Hart barrels.
