Alliant Extra Lite powder will get you there. It's really the best powder for those ultra lite shot loadings.

That's the second longest range shotgunned coyote on record. Stories are similar regarding poor range estimation. Says something about the effectiveness of heavier than lead and how well those...
Pushing 60 yards is a long poke for lead BB or buckshot. TSS #4 or #5 would have had that cat on a stretcher.
I'd like to know what size holes in the sieve? Hevi is random sized at best. I'd bet it's quite a bit larger than #4 birdshot.
That is a pretty marginal description when looking for hull identification. Descriptions should include manufacturer and head stamp markings or preferably a photo. That said, it sounds like you are...
Winchester compression formed hulls are the precursor to todays WWAA hulls. They were a single piece tapered hull. The cup in the bottom of todays WWAA hulls mimics the taper. Generally recipes...

405 gr cast over 13.0 gr of Trail Boss is right at 1,000 fps. Straight off the hodgdon reloading site.
It's over hodgdons listing for Trail Boss but I've ran up to 15.0 gr. Those are right at...
LOL. The ProChrono screen can't take much of a hit... I smucked one using white rice as an over shot filler before bending that plexi.
Steel shot for shotshells is softened by annealing. Steel airgun BBs are not annealed. Other than buying your shot a Walmart there is no benefit of using airgun BBs.
For protecting my ProChrono,...
Put the Unique loads and Winchester low recoil shells over the chrono this afternoon. I know the OP doesn't currently have Unique but there are likely others that are looking for the same kind of...
Low pressure doesn't have anything to do with recoil. Pressure is good. To reduce recoil, you need to slow the speed and/or reduce the weight of the shot charge.
20/28 is similar to Unique but...
Try Unique. I've loaded 20 gauge with Unique down to 5/8 ounce with good results. That was starting with CB1075-20 data and dropping light on the shot. Those CB1075 loads started off at low...
Did you try emailing him? I was thinking about buying one also. I may make one of those myself but it looks like he does a nicer job than I would.

I read of a fella that was doing this. He stated that if you boiled the used wads, they returned to their original shape. I never bothered confirming it.
I've done something similar for roll crimping on the drill press. Drill part way through a board and place a rubber washer in it. The rubber gives enough friction to make roll crimping easy.
If it was a rough chamber, it wouldn't be the only load that causes sticking issues.
3-1/2" guns are rated for higher pressures. It does not matter that the general hull construction is similar minus the length of the tube.
Without that added pressure, a 3-1/2" 12 bore couldn't...
There have been several cases of BPI pressures being off on shotgunworld.com and duckhuntingchat.com
I don't remember all of the reloaders that have had loads tested but derbyacresbob is one that...
I don't believe those Longshot loads could possibly be under 8,000 psi with nearly a 1-3/8 oz payload. Similar loads on hodgdons site are running over 11,000.

6 pt. Can you post up a full size pic of your avatar? Always like admiring the 10's. I have three but only one that's interesting, an old LC.
You could candle the original load. It would tell you how tall the shot column is and then you'd be able to duplicate the weight of the payload. Just a thought.
