FWIW, Maybe double check the taper crimp to make sure the boolits aren't moving inward when they hit the feed ramp, that would raise the pressure.. i know the XTP has a long enough shank , but not...

The .25-45 maintains the same shoulder as the .223, where as the .257TCU, i assume has the improved shoulder like the 6, 6.5, and 7TCU's..
