3 yrs ago I gave $200 for a 1952 336SC and it has the smoothest action I have ever experienced in a lever. It is easily my favorite shooter. You can't go wrong in a .35 Rem.

8.5gr Unique and 9.0gr of T Boss is a good plinking load.

I own a 1948 Marlin 336 30-30 and a 1952 336SC .35 rem. I know the argument is MG is ok but in my book there is no substitute for ballard rifling!

My Marlin 336A delivers supurb accuracy with cast boolits. I launch 190 NEI gr. a 180gr Mtn Molds boolit and a 130gr NEI boolit.

One good pedestrian load for the .356 Win. at approx. 1500 to 1600 fps load is Unique 11-13gr for about 1550 and decent accuracy at 50 yds.

Just received a 180 gr .362 Mountain Molds boolit, this should fit the niche I sorely needed in my boolit inventory.

Almost didn't mention the NEI 130 plinking boolit I use............

My marlin has a .310 bore and unless I use the .311 sizer to lube the barrel leads.

I have a Win .356 and it will spank with the best of them!

Don't forget to bump up the hardness of your boolits on the oven!.......

Of the thousands and thousands of cast shot it boils down to correct alloy used, bullet sizing, lube, etc. for excellent accuracy.

I like the 130 gr NEI PB boolit over 8.5 gr of Unique to a accurate, economical load.

I use unique, 5744, 3031 with a NEI 130 gr bullet. Cheap and accurate.
