Although Dillon told me it did not ship that way, my 550 has the same tube as my 650 (metal tip). When I had problems with a SD, I called Dillon and bought a 650 tube. Problem solved.

Larger cases, yes. Smaller handgun cartridges, maybe, if cases sorted.
