Yep, I`ve always liked RCBS.

The mailman just delivered my new replacement die. RCBS is good folks as I figured they were.

I had the lock ring on this die set so that the shell holder wouldn`t contact the die. I`m 99% sure this happened from the case mouth bumping the carbide ring on the way in.

Thanks for the replies guys. I sent the die off to RCBS this morning. I`m willing to bet they replace it, shooting industry folks are good like that.

At the Walmart that I go to they don`t even have a spot on the shelves listed for .22 anymore.

You should have a shank that screws into the cutter head. When it bottoms out in the base of the case it would then be trimmed to length. I don`t think that is adjustable. Hope this helps.
