Saw one of these recently and wondering if anyone uses one?
All the reviews seem pretty good, but thought I'd ask around. Would mostly use for turkey, but the brisket and ribs intrigue me also.

Hi Rich! Don't I know you from somewhere? Lol!
Can't say I have ever used as straight lube, but I have dusted tumble lubed bullets with it. Works great, and makes a coating similar to Hornady...

Not sure if you do, but a PTO generator on a tractor, and an old AC "buzz box" welder will weld magnetized sucker rod / pipe pretty well.
always preferred to make straps to hold the rod to the pipe,...

Read a lot of Steinbeck, and loved it all!
After having gone through a version of Grapes Of Wrath, during the farm crisis of the 1980's, I found I identified quite a bit with that book.
Love the...

When I was a kid, we rented a farmhouse to a local sheriffs deputy. There were several deputies back then that were gun guys, and they did a lot of target shooting in a big washout in the pasture...

I built one of the "ugly drum" smokers a few years ago, got in a hurry, and used a galvanized pan under my charcoal basket, to catch ashes. I was worried until I did my test burn....16 hours, and...

Thanks for the suggestions. I was not aware I could get an NOE with the option to cast either HP or FP bullets. Very interesting!
Btroj, are you in Brownville? If so, I'm not too far away!

Trying to pick a good general purpose gas check mold for my Guide Gun.
Was really impressed with my NOE mold I got a few years back for my 303, and would like to give them another try.
I don't...

Been wanting one of those for the last 4-5 years, and just plain can't find one at an honest price. Not paying the $750+ they ask on GB and at some gun shows.

I'm thinking Steiger Super Wildcat with 14' dozer blade on the front.
Seriously, though, I dont really subscribe to the bugout theory.

Glad to see your wife carries too! The scary thing is that this kind of behavior tends to escalate to other things.

Skeeter is the all time greatest, in my book. Jordan, Keith, Askins and Cooper.
I remember meeting my BIL's dad for the first time, and finding out he was a "gun guy" too. Felt soooo bad when I had...

Upped the re recipe, and fed about 40 people last night. Everyone loved it!

Hi Rich....dont I know you from somwhere? :bigsmyl2:
Was this the 10# or 20# pot you had trouble with? Always wanted to upgrade to a Lyman or RCBS, but have been pretty happy overall with the Lee...

I guess I am sort of a generator hoarder. Being in the small engine repair business will do that, I guess! 6.5kw Kohler, 3.5kw Homelite, 3.5kw Onan, and a little 1.8 kw Toro, made by Suzuki. All run...

The old Gravely's and David Bradley's are neat old machines, and very versatile with the right attachments. Owned several DB's over the years, but someone always made it worthwhile to sell them....

What do you guys favor for multi tools, and why?
I keep a Kershaw kocking one in my car, and have been pretty happy with it overall. Wide variety of tools, and all seem well made and useable.

How can we be 50+ posts into this and nobody mentioned Skeeter Skelton? He'd be among my top picks, along with Bob Milek, Elmer, Bill Jordan, and Charles Askins. Probably Frank Hamer too.
