I use the zip trim with the 3 jaw chuck just to clean really ugly brass. I but the brass in the chuck, hold a fine scotch bright scruffy pad around the brass and pretend i'm starting my weedwacker....

I use walnut with a little Hoppes 9 in it to clean, and corn cob with Dillon brass polish if I want to make it shiney.

I had the same thing happen with a Magma master caster. It was a nightmare. the entire mould carriage assemble was hidden in a big hunk of lead. 2 hours with a tourch to find it again. I have read...
I store about 40 moulds in ammo cans with desiccant bags. I also use small rubber bands to hold the moulds together to prevent the cavitys from coming in contact with other moulds. I've never had a...

I usually do both in the same day. Mine air cool. I don't water drop, so it makes sense to me to size while they are still soft. it doesnt make much difference, but in my eyes, the least resistance...

that's funny. In my day job I deal with Engineers. my friend (who ironically is now an Engineer) used to have a sign on His toolbos that read "It's only slightly easier to communicate with and...
I have 3 stars and a Lyman 450. I still use my Lyman for some of my multi-lube groove, and flat base boolits. It's a great machine, but no where near the speed of a Star. The Star is a little slower...

I lucked out and picked up a Dillon 550 with 12 complete caliber change overs (Powder measures and all) at an estate sale. I got a SH*%load of reloading and casting stuff for $800 cash. I sold off...

Creeker. I do the same thing with hand moulds. I lock down the mould carriage assembly, insert a piece of extruded aluminum as a mould guide and use the Magma pot with hand moulds. (If i'm casting in...
