Pre 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Add a decent set of tires and it will take you anywhere you need to go. They run about 5K, you can add bumpers, winch, tires and lift and still be under 10K.

Sounds like leaking seal inside of the pneumatic cylinder. The seals can be replaced, depending on availability and if it would be cost effective versus replacing cylinder.

I had the same problem on 2 of them. Called Dillon, the replaced the motors at no charge.

Always use a good quality handheld impact to remove plugs on these motors. This will greatly reduce any possibility of breaking plugs.
