I bought a pound of H4198. I couldn't get my 7.62x40 to completely cycle and would not pick up a round from my magazine using IMR4227 despite what Wilson posted on their Web site. A slightly slower...

Looks like I'll have something to do on my next trip, read the 65 pages. I just put together an 18" barreled 7.62x40wt and have a bit of buyer's remorse thinking I should have gone with a 20...... ...

Expanding my knowledge base from just reloading .45acp to casting for said ammo, I ventured into reloading for rifles, picking m-1 carbine and (I bought a surplus one years ago and never fired it)...

Dude! Any faster and you would be psychic: you would have to have shipped it before I asked for it! :-)

Could someone explain to this old neophyte why loading data would be different between the .45acp and the .45 auto rim: same bullets, I assume case volume is the same, isn't it?

Yeah, I've been reading about the different powders in the Lyman reloading handbook and castpics actually has reloading data for the alcan powder. I can actually use this stuff! Oh this is gonna be...

Loaded 400 rounds of .45acp. Wife and I fired 200 of them this evening at an indoor range......I'm certainly shooting more now that I'm reloading...... :-)
