I read through that post, and it really helped me. Maybe I'll just try to make my own key blocks from bar stock next time...I'm just not a machinist...so I'll just try it and have the Mrs laugh at me.

I received conversion kits for RCBS moulds for my MC. In it, there are very thin strips of spacer material that look like they go behind the roll pin pieces and the mould body. It seems that on my...

Anyone have a clue to the maker of the cover?

Just a side question...about what year were orings first put inside the tube for the dies? A couple of mine do not have any recess for orings.

Just a couple of questions because maybe I'm just too ignorant to find the answers in the search function...
I take it the the little holes on the pivot points
of my Stars are for oil. I've...

The primer cup assembly is the same as a Mec for a 600 Jr.
Only reason i know that is I just picked up some Texans myself, and i need the tubes too. Haven't had time to measure them though.
Rocky Mountain cases are great, but are very heavy because they are turned. They don't lend themselves easily to doing much with them because of their very thick body walls. Also, their inner...
A lot of larger sized shot isn't "perfectly" round, but it's basic shape is round-ish.
I got a bag of Remington "Field" #4 Buckshot, and it certainly isn't round. It's round-ish but it produces...
I'm speechless.
I wish I'd have thought of that!!! So simple and it works!!!
:D
I always have to complicate things.
I've got one of the Sharpshooter gang moulds in #OO buck, and ordered up one of the Lee buckshot moulds...
Has anyone used or tried a gang mould that makes shot as small as #4buck?
Or, is stuff...
I'd suggest getting an airsoft piece if you don't want to do harm.
Otherwise use #2 or #BB lead for dog or coyote sized animals- but that does something that you apparently don't want to do.

These are darn good little guns for the money- especially since Ruger seems to want a king's ransom for their pieces anymore.
I've got three of them I've acquired in some group purchases...
The only thing you need is a paper overshot card- which is the thickness of index card paper- pressed firmly over the top of the powder.
Give Circle Fly a call and order some .410 overshot cards-...
I'd just call circle fly- they are most helpful and might just be able to fit up exactly what you need. I'd just put two .125's right on top of each other.
Where are those gas wedges? Are they the...
I also want to reiterate that there is nothing wrong with the crimping itself, just that it wouldn't go down far enough.
I don't know if I've been the only feller that's had to do this, but I just thought I'd ask...
I found that I had to make the dimple in the center of my BPI roll crimps wider and much deeper for...
Here's your 14ga brass right here:

It runs about 60 bucks per ten, but they are the best brass, and very heavy and will never wear out or have to be resized...

I want a 4-cavity plain base.
Am I correct that you PM me for payment? Or do I send it in? I just hope I got in before it closes.
This is my first group buy.
Has anyone used the previous...

Forum: Boolit Lube !
That's basically my mix, with half of the olive oil changed out with grape seed oil, and a tad of tallow mixed in- but it just doesn't seen that "tacky" to me. Perhaps it's just me.

I've been buying some commercial BP lubes, which I like, and just recently tried making my own simple lube for lubing black powder pistol and rifle cartridge bullets...
I've got a lube recipe that...

IIRC, if you are using the pennies for "art" or other useful purposes and do not intend to spend them or sell them for scrap after being defaced...I *think* is the way it reads somewhere. However, I...
