I'd have to go with 45-70 as it's never let me down and i'm primarily hunting Elk, Deer and Black Bear in heavy timber.

Already have my retirement rifle. Shiloh Sharps 45-90 and plenty of lead and powder to keep it fed.

Added a second Dillon 550 to the bench and 8 bags of Starline 500 S&W brass.

Miss hunting those sitka black tails in SE Alaska. Congrats!

Always a great day when you can find a stash like that. I've melted a few lead source containers down over the years and they casted great bullets. Hard to find around here now!

Just received the Lee .495 6 cavity round ball mold that i ordered from Track of the Wolf.

More 2A supporters is a bonus in my mind and with the demand for supplies hopefully the manufactures are expanding again to get things back on the shelves.

Wow, kind of appears who ever is doing quality assurance must of been on break. I've always had great customer service from Ruger so there is no doubt they will take care of the issue.

Sad news. She was a very sweet gal. Met her up in Driggs, Idaho when i lived up there and she was always friendly and loved the community. She will be missed.

I own several Henry rifles and the skinner peep sight is a great addition.

There's a lot of good options for bear defense. I'm a 458 Socom fan but wouldn't recommend it unless they were reloading since 458 socom ammo isn't easy to find in the Boise area and it's expensive....

The price gougers are out in force. No powder or primers on the shelves in my area. Somebody consigned 9mm ammo at one of the local shops for $55 a box and people are actually buying it. Pretty sad.
