I've got some tumble lube molds that don't need sizing, some that do.
Depends on the individual mold and gun, no general rule. Some chambers are tighter than others and won't allow any oversizing.

I've got a ton of the 158RF cast up, unlubed. If you want a bunch to try them out just drop me a line.

Wiking, I bet in your country you can find junk pewter, that's what I use for tin. I buy old junky pewter at yard sales for next to nothing (mugs usually) and just melt it right into the pot.

I looked at it the other day on the Lee site and there was maybe one fourth as much as there used to be for whatever reason, the pickings were pretty thin.

I loaded a bunch of the Lee 158 RF bullets with about 3.5 grains of Unique and they fed and shot fine. Figured the big blunt nose on them would be pretty effective if I had to shoot something with...

When my 4-20 starts to drip I take a lead ingot and tap the top of the rod that activates the valve. It seems like the dripping is usually caused by a piece of grit stuck in the valve and the lead...

Thanks for all the good info. I picked up a 12 pound keg of 800X a while back at a price I couldn't refuse. Got it for $50, the guy selling it said it was a pain to measure and he didn't want to...
I HAD a CW9 for a year until my youngest daughter turned 21 and got her concealed carry permit [smilie=1:] I bought her a Kimber ProCarry for her 21st birthday and she loves it but finds the Kahr a...

I can't offer a solution, just hope. I have shot many, many 1,000's of the Lee 230 grain round nose, lubed with Lee Alox, 3.9 grains of Clays, through my 1911's, including a Kimber ProCarry. Zero...

When I was a kid in the Ozarks we used to dig raw lead nuggets out of the ground (wish I owned some of that land now :-D ). It was almost crystalline and could be split along shear planes. When ...

Last summer I smelted a bunch of range scrap and ended up with 3 five gallon buckets full of jacket material. I decided to see if I could sell it for scrap and was amazed to come home with $180 for...

I bottom pour all my pistol bullets, works just ducky for me. Most of them are 6 cavity molds. I hold them about and inch or inch and a half under the spout and let a good puddle form for the...

Bottom poured a fair number of bullets, work fine for my simple purposes.
One little trick I finally figured out with my Lee 4-20 pot is that when it starts to drip it's usually a tiny piece of...

I've been using pewter items I pick up at garage sales and thrift stores, mainly ugly mugs, they've worked great for me. Have to be careful as there's a million alloys that look similar, many of...
I haven't found Titegroup to be the best powder for cast boolits, I seemed to end up with more leading problems for some reason. You might try some loads with other powders and see if you get any...

I love BiMart, it's like taking a trip back in time whenever I go there. The guys working the sporting goods area around here are shooters and reloaders, they know what they're doing, are friendly,...

Thanks for the heads up. Their normal price on Titegroup is only $13 per pound, so $11 per pound is the price of surplus these days.
BTW, if you're near a Sportsman's Warehouse, check them out. ...

Mid South Shooters Supply has their .224 "Bator" mold for a reasonable price, it's a 2-cavity aluminum. It goes in and out of stock, if not there check back regularly.

Now that's carpentry!
I've done a fair bit with a chainsaw I must admit, but never with my 1911.

The guy making them on Ebay rotates through calibers, I bought his kit for .357 and .41, they're very nice and work great. Email him and let him know what calibers you're interested in, nice guy.

I buy a lot of stuff from Powder Valley, used to buy a lot from Hi-Tech Ammo but they haven't had a lot in stock lately.
We have a big chain here called Sportsman's Warehouse, they're not too bad...
I picked up a Swift 1.5-4.5 last year I'm really happy with. Nice optics. Don't hear much about their scopes but they're first class telescope and binocular makers and their prices are reasonable.
