Good year in Virginia so far. Went to Highland Co. Maple Festival last weekend and had buckwheat cakes with ham or sausage and real maple syrup. Man that is good eating.

My .357, 45acp, marked 79, and 44mag. carbids are all like that.

I place mine upside down in my boolit catch pan and place on top of the wood stove. Doesn't take long and if you want to use the lube again pour it back in.

Started sorting, mil. comm., and prepping 45acp. Labeling brass containers as to what is inside and general clean up and organizing.
Forum: Boolit Lube !
Search BLL lube. I use it on my commercial cast with much better results.
Forum: Boolit Lube !
I would try some of the tumble lubes over top of your boolits., 45,45,10 or BLL. I used BLL and saw a difference right away. Just for giggles, take a cuticle stick and remove the hard lube and try...

I could access youtube, but this site has been on and off all morning. Thanks for the info, didn't know what was going on.
Thanks for the pics salpal, those are very interesting, and new to me.

Lyman and RCBS both are grossly over priced. I bought a True Temp dial from a vender on this site.
I thought NOE moulds also sell thermometers. Don't know of any digital ones personally.

Thanks, redrider. I did not know the difference. Nice looking pot. I like ladle dipping myself, and bought the Lyman PID pot when it came available.

Very nice work as always, great craftsmanship.

Good info, I found candles in cast iron loaf pans that make a 5lb. ingot. Stacks well and goes into all my pots.
2011 redrider, you are just showing off now, ha ha. Nice RCBS PID pot, I was just...
John Miller, that's a name I remember from the past. Used to shoot at a gun club he hung around at sometime with his hometown friends. Quit a gunsmith as I recall.
The RCBS bench mounted is a fine tool. Polish up the steel lever where it cams and it gets slicker and even light feel. Springs can break and RCBS will replace them of course. You will like it if you...
I wondered when Titegroup would get mentioned. I use it in 38 to 45LC. I like it, and it was around when other powders were not. Have not noticed heat factor yet, but will pay more attention.
I would have liked a rack under my Christmas tree. Great video, thanks for sharing.

I found IMR Red, Green, Blue and Target at the new Cabela's in Gainesville, VA

As a kid I liked the cooked rhubarb over cottage cheese with a spoonful of grape jelly mixed in to over come the tartness.

Good info. I saw large flint piles outwest, but never any here in the east. I assume the southern indians traded for it?
Forum: Reloading Equipment
I think I would have to go with my COAX.
Forum: Reloading Equipment
Both, started with a RC, shortly after a 450B when it came out, a 550 B a couple years later. Several years ago I bought a COAX, my favorite and and a used SDB.
Don't understand the comments that...
I think a Kimber will be hard to beat. I have a semi custom 1911 Colt. I bought a SS Kimber from a divorce sale and I have been very impressed.

I turn mine upside down over metal cake pan and set it on wood heater. Any type of heat, heat gun, be very careful using a torch. Some boil it out.

Lube-sized a couple hundred 158s on the lubeamatic.
