dverna,
That was some very good shooting; especially considering a crosswind!! I’ve seen other good reports on ballistol for lubing pellets and slugs in airguns.

It’s a standard Benjamin 392 that was sent to Mac1 airguns for his “steroid” treatment which includes a beefier pump arm and adj. piston. There are other internal things he does to increase power and...

Got out Sunday afternoon for a little range time with the challenger. Weather was perfect for testing a rifle under different circumstances as all I had to do was wait a few minutes and circumstances...

Okay, looks like I may have found a slug to shoot with the new bbl. band on.
I cast some bbt, and 25 gr. Noe slugs with my mixed pellet alloy which drops at .220” from the mold.
Shot them unsized...

Have’nt gotten into posting pic’s from my cell phone… I used to do it on my computer before it went caput lol.
Old dog has to learn a new trick now I guess. In the meantime I got a 24 gr. Noe...

Yeah, I had high hopes for slugs in this one and at one point I had a couple of different ones shooting well without a bbl. band. The problem with that though was if the bbl. was bumped it would...

While the bison bbl. band worked okay, a member on the GTA found one made by Hot Snot on eBay.
It clamps on the underside with a metal screw and embedded nut.
Ordered one and put it on…. absolutely...

Got the bbl. band today and sanded it to size. Went on tight without the plastic set screws he sends with it, but I snugged them down anyway.
That took care of the play in the shroud unless I...

Ordered a bbl. band from Bison Airguns and Parts.
That should take care of the bit of play on the shroud. Accuracy has been great as is, but the band will give a bit of peace of mind anyway!

Will do! There may not be much shooting till after July 15th though. I’m scheduled for cataract surgery on my shooting eye then. Had the other eye taken care of back in May. I can do fairly well for...

Thanks dverna!
Lol, as far as accuracy with this rifle it’s heavy enough at right at 7 lbs. sans scope that it sits on the bags at the bench and does’nt move... it’s an easy one to shoot well.
Of...

Hhhhhmmm how in the world did I get a double thread going? Did’nt notice it the other day when I first started the thread?
Mods can remove one of them if they want since both threads are identical.

Finally bought my first pcp... an AEA challenger in .22 cal. This is an unregulated rifle that gets up to 70 fpe with some of the heavier 22 pellets and bullets!
They have recently come out with a...

I use 3 light coats of BLL in my rifle loads @ 2200 to 2600 FPS.... no leading. Of course boolit fit is king, but provided that, BLL works just as well as Ben’s Red and provides a dry finish to the...

Glad I stocked up on the Johnson’s liquid floor wax while it was still available for making BLL. Got plenty of Johnson’s paste wax for making Ben’s Red also.
Both of those lubes work equally well...

Just a bit of a follow up on the 20 gr. Noe pellet mold i’ve been using. Originally I had dismal results with bottom pouring from my lee pot. I tried all kinds of things including bottom pressure...

Great find! I would have snapped it up too. Have fun finding the pellets it likes, then just enjoy shooting it.

Flatter trajectory, less hold over for longer shots. I use both 177 and 22 cal. for small game and have the same success rate with both cal.
Airgunning to me comes down to shot placement with either...

Numrich GunCorps has Diana 350 magnums in .177 cal. for $249.00. I think mine was 269.00 shipped. It has the new t06 trigger.
I was told not to get a magnum springer for my first coil spring gun as...

Rogn,
Thanks for the report on your 350!
Your results at 100 yds. are encouraging as I intend to try that just for fun soon. There is a NUAH ( nothing under a hundred)section on GTA i’d like to...

Pretty sure all of the later Dianah’s have the T06 triggers now. Still seems to be quite a few “new in box” T05’s still showing up from time to time though at reduced prices. Older stock that did’nt...

Ben’s Red and BLL work great in the heat and cold. Works great for speed too... I use it for 2400 FPS. and up. Works just as good for slower speeds too. Of course, both of these lubes are home made.

Just bought a NOE 20 gr. mold in 22 cal. and am having great accuracy with stick on ww pressure poured from a ladle in my 392 steroid. Shoots just as well as JSB pellets from it.
