I find that the 45 cal. collet works better on most 44's than the "44" one.
Being not so tight it gives one more movement and adjustability with the screw.

My favorite load with a CP 260 gr. WFNGC 44 in a Redhawk is 18 or 19 gr. of 2400 (depending on the brand of brass).
