The metal is definitely "spotted" you can see the two different metals. there is a definite contrast. im going to melt some of the stuff to see how it comes apart.

I just acquired all the pipes from and old trashed pipe organ from an old church. A little research tells me that the metal is a tin lead mixture. the pipes are definitely soft, i can crush them...

I do both! I make .223 bullets from lr casings and buy 1000's of hornady projectiles! Ha!

I powder coat water quenched WW 44 bullets with no problems. has anyone PC'd pure, dead soft 44 mag bullets and loaded them fairly hot, without leading issues or any other problems?

I think BTsniper uses clip on WW in his 22lr cases to .224 projectiles.
