another trick to help accuracy with lead bullets is to champher the case mouths either using a VLD champher or the K&M inside neck reamer that uses a 4 degree cut angle..

what's your bore slug out too? I have some lubed and sized....458..bullets I could give you some to try. the weights range from 380-435 with large meplats

you are correct about the dish on the bottom of the punch. I used a 1/2" ball end mill to perform that part. 289635289636

So being that I have 2 of these molds, I decided to modify 1 of these to drop a flat base bullet. I tried to modify the plug but cut it back to where it dropped a 435 +or - bullet but it needed a gas...

although the 650 does not resize you can either install a sizing die or use your lee load all to deprime and resize the hulls then run them through the 650.

I only have 1 barrel now and it is chambered for the 6.5 carcano. I used a old rusted out 7 tcu barrel that I had laying around and used it as a stub with a 6.5 shieln barrel that was gathering dust....

on Shaw's website they will not do the carcano recievers among other recievers.

i was able to purchase mine for $175.00 on ebay only because it had a bent handle. never try to do any swaging with the handle set for reloading cartridges because you can not set the swage to grab...

they are still taking orders just ordered a set for my RCBS Pro Melt and will be here Tuesday full review after.
