I just bought Berdan primers with no HAZMAT.
Some UPS agents do not seem to know their own rules and are 'fraid of the BATFags. Can't say as I blame them. The IRS does not have to play nice.

No, another man altogether.

MJ,
Sorry, I'm in my own little world here, and suffer from CRS.
It is Mack, not Frost.

A parent case with a .403" base will be hard to find. The nominal .405" .41 Long Colt is far too short.
I do not know what Buffalo uses for a parent case, but they call for an RCBS #21 (.303...
I went in to RCBS Wednesday to see the chronograph, as Huntington's had no clue when it would be available. It lists for $87.96 in their online catalog.

I, too, have found the old adage "Little powder, much lead - Shoots far, kills dead" to be valid in my .44 Special with Krag and .303 Brit. cases. I've always used Bullseye to gain space for shot.

The Lee will handle the Lee dies without a problem. The Lachmiller, Herter, Hollywood may have 18tpi or some other pitch, and a bushing may be required. I don't believe there is a standard .577...

A countersink into the sprue can create kiss gate that can be twisted off at the weakest point - maybe better than a sprue plate.

Either .40-65 or .38-56 will serve as enough intermediate die. Using both will ease the job, but not enough to merit the expenditure of the extra dies.

RCBS used to make base-swaging dies, and others still do. I've used the Riceone die for making 6.5x50 Arisaka from '06. It is a bit of a chore, but doable under duress. The extractor groove...

Is the ram slotted to accept the Lachmiller-Herter shellholders, or is it female threaded?
In any event, Vega can make you holders, adapters, or a new ram.

My local baitshop lists Bertram 577/450 for US$109.75 and Jamison for US$59.98, both for 20 cases.

I use the .348 for .50 Government, and it generally works well, but the rim is shy, and may be a little balky. I will try new Starline ($22.60 per 20) .50-70 the next time I try to make 45-75 WCF,...

2) Jamison's tooling is from Bell, then MAST. I doubt he got all of it, as MAST is still producing.
