Clean away accuracy? never heard of that. Leading is when smeared led sticks to the barrel, it sucks. Cleaning a dirty bore is fine, but you can go without it. I would delead a barrel before use.

7.62x54r usually a hungarian or polish bullet, its a mild steel core, so wont help you much in casting. Thoes use to be very cheap fodder for the Mosin Nagant, hmmmm olden days :roll:
