Don't flux. Heat low. skim off dross and throw it away. Do this several times. You will end up with soft lead. I hate to throw away antimony and tin, but these can be replaced.

Here are pix of the bullets seated to touch the lands in an SPCII barrel, except the C277-125R which is .010 off lands (magazine length)...

Standard carbine 16" barrel. SPCII throat. bullets seated to magazine length, which is .010 off lands in my gun. I used a stoney point case length gauge.

I used liquid alox lube and tumbled them. after at least a hundred rounds, barrel was pretty clean. It did not take much longer than usual to clean. No sign of serious leading.

Just got back from the range. I shot all the bullets previously listed.

No idea on the force. 20kg for .1 second will not produce the same indentation as 20kg applied for 30 seconds. Brinell is not impact. The force has to be applied for 30 seconds to get consistency.
