The three 6 cavity molds I have were just as bad as yours Doc, I'm not using them again until I have to cast more boolets.

I had a similar problem with a 1911 in 9mm. Had to reeely adjust the extractor in to gain control of the round.

That is true, I stuff debris in the slot to prevent escape.

Not saying this will solve the problem, but with similar experience the Lee die worked. It was used after the seating/crimp die.
