If I remember it correctly I had an RCBS 170 grain TC 10mm mold 25 years ago. I had the 200 grain version too. Anyways the 200 took up too much powder space so the 170 got much higher velocities, and...
My old Colt has a .354 barrel and .359 throats. The chambers will take a maximum of .358 sized boolits. Other than that the forcing cone is very tight and will fill up with lead in no time with large...
I use the 200 grain 358315 in my S&W 940 9mm revolver without tumbling. It has the standard twist.
In my opinion the faster twist is more prone to leading and better suited for jacketed.
The M&P...

I too had an unadultered Delta Gold Cup and an IAI Javelina "clone", they worked great with RCBS 170gn TC boolits. I was going to do what you have done and fit a ramped barrel but I sold them...

Nice mold... I don't need one, I don't need one, I don't need...

The array of 9mm guns are different in so many ways. Some are easy some are not.
The main problem seems to me to be that steep rifling made for jacketed bullets.
It is hard on the lead boolit...
It is difficult to ascertain exactly why some boolits almost invariably shoot well and most others don't. Some work with a specific gun but not the next. Many work well enough for most uses but some...
The 358311 is a long lived design that has seen a lot of variation from different cherries. The lenght of the base band has varied a lot back and forth over the years. I have one 358311 of the...
I have had my best luck with the 35-135P. It could be ordered without a lube groove and be slightly heavier.
I got both my 358311 molds second hand. One was in perfect shape the other not so much, but the boolits from both do better than any other that I've tried except for one custom design that is on par....
I too second the Ideal/Lyman 358311. It has always been the most accurate for me.
No, only one discount can be used at a time. It can be used with the "specials" however.
I would think this upcoming 135 gn RN mold is very promising

NOE does a very good job of shipping overseas. Also NOE isn't really custom if you order items that are in stock. Accurate and Mountain molds are also great (and more custom made). All of them have...

The nose bushing has a sharp shoulder and about no lead in taper compared to the body bushing.
It is very hard to size down any significant amount with it.

There's an on going discussion about a group buy of a 135 grain round nose on this forum...
I don't have the CM but the 38-150-RN. Accuracy in my Colt Officers Match revolver has been inferior to the Ideal 358311 in every alloy and load that I have tried. Sorry.
Yeah... Lets hope there are some good specials before christmas :)
My latest order was actually faster than it has been for more than a year now so they may be catching up :)
I need to limit my puchases right now but I got the 360 HB and 432 HB Keith molds when they were run and they are really nice.
Sometimes a flat top punch is best as the press in itself can have alignment issues (and often this is the case) and it may allow the boolit to center freely none the less.
