Accurate No. 5 is a good choice. I like 8 grains with 158 gr. lead , also like 4.5 grains 700x with 158 gr. lead .

One of my favorite,700X is an often overlooked powder. Never had problems finding it on the shelf and don't let all the "meters like Corn flakes " keep you from giving it a try.

22-250. In 1987 my uncle helped me build my reloading bench and helped me set up press and dies. I'll never forget our trip to the rifle range and shooting my first reloads and the great time we had.

I'm shooting the new 66-8. I probably should have said carboned up the works not gummed up.The cylinder didn't spin freely on the shaft due to residue from the Titegroup and Bullseye loads...
I shoot only cast lead in my 4.25" barrel 66-8 all 158 grain SWC bullets now.I did have problems with two loads using Speer swagged bullets one was with 4.5 grs. Bullseye , CCI 500 primers the other...
I had a Kimber Custom II didn't impress still have my two Colts though a newer 1991 and a 100 th anniversary model both are keepers. The new Colts are really well built and priced right.
I like AA#2 for light to medium loads and AA#5 for medium loads both are easy to meter and are clean burners in the 158 gr. LSWC with loads I use. I like 2400 and Win 296 for heavy magnum loads. For...
Clean oil off of blade and soak in apple cider vinegar for about 1/2 hour then wrap blade with cider vinegar soaked paper towel until you get desired color. Clean off vinegar and oil blade and you're...

I have the Alliant 2016 guide and use it as well. I like to see other data compiled by different sources to compare. I'm not buying Hornady 10th solely because it has BE-86 data but it's nice that...

I use Lyman labels on my plastic MTM ammo boxes then when finished shooting box I peel labels off and place them besides my load data in my reloading log book, also Lyman.
Here's some pictures, not the best groups I have shot . I was happy with performance of powder so far . I have a good starting point now it's time to reload.
I was able to shoot this morning, 50 rounds each at 25 yards with the pistol supported by a sandbag rest. I was pleased with the groups and loads had more snap than I expected. I don't have a...
Thanks cherokeetracker and runfiverun . I also load for 45 ACP thanks for help, dirty doesn't bother me part of shooting . I will give Accurate a call.
Thanks Montana. Looks like not a lot of people using No.2 for light 357 mag loads. I'll soldier on because as with most reloaders we like trying different components and testing loads to find that...
I have never used Accurate No. 2 and always wanted to try it but had hard time finding any the last three years but my local gun shop finally had some . I have used a lot of Accurate No. 5 for...

Great choice. I bought one from Dillon in 1992 and it's been my favorite beam scale I have used.
357 magnum for me , its versatility and wide range of loadings are hard to beat.
