I'll post some pics when it arrives.
Thanks for the help - Jim

Anyone seen/have one of these? I've got a 'today only' coupon and some Cabela's bucks burning a hole in my pocket.
They look visually similar to the older Investarms made rifle, but the local...

Ideal 1897 catalog lists the 42498 as “This is the regular .44-40 bullet for Winchester, Marlin and Colt’s rifles and pistols.”
Price was $1.10.

No, it's a right handed barrel and stock. The gentleman took a lot of wood off the comb trying to shape it for a left handed shooter.
I'm going to use the barrel with a right handed tc hawken...

Great. I was on the fence after coming across the TC in a closet this weekend, but now I'll be on the lookout for a Flintlock TC.
Thanks for the help

Hi,
Years ago, my son was given a TC Hawken stock with a percussion barrel.
The fella noticed my son was left handed and gave him a stock he had 'modified' to be shot left handed. Stock is...

Thanks.
Boolits go in the middle between the pots. Metal tray for sprues/rejects goes next to the pot in use (it has a bunch of undersized Saeco 115s in the photo), with the dump box next to that....

Thanks. I always had problems with consistent timing; tried watching the second hand on the clock, counting etc. But I'd forget to start, or lose track of the count during the middle, or get...

As much as I love my 1911s, the Springfield XDm is a outstanding gun for the price.

Be aware that the Browning BPCR currently on gunbroker doesn't have sights. The seller sold the sights off separately a couple months ago and has been running the rifle without them ever since.

Thanks for the info Brent.
I hadn't heard of Distant Thunder before, I was actually looking for a Baldwin front sight when I came across Jim's website. One of the local BPCR shooters had...

I went ahead and mailed a check today for the octagon version. I'll post some pics when it arrives.

I was going to order one of DT's front globe sights, and saw an octagon version listed as an option. This would go on an octagon barreled 1886.
Only picture I could find was the small one on DT's...

Tried welding gloves for a while; too cumbersome. Now I use the leather gloves that come in the three pack at Costco.
