From all my findings with "soww",they are a lot harder now than they use to be.Years back ,they were soft lead,5.0bhn/6.0bhn.Now I have seen them as high as 7.4bhn.I would just mix in with coww.Lee

Bad idea.Zinc takes more heat than lead.Could mess up mold.Get a mold for 7 oz.sinkers.

I personally would not use range lead in your M.L.Use pure soft lead,b.h.n 5 to 7.Stick on wheel weights will work,if you can't get pure lead.Just my 2 cents...
