Loaded 300 40's. Now I have 700 loaded rounds. That will do for a few matches. Of course, if we don't get to more matches, it will last much longer. I also finally finished the cart for my new...

Well, if you decide you want to build those Ram Chuckers I would probably be your first customer.

Started to load some 45 acp. Did a couple and then the primer feed wouldn't do all the way, so I tore it apart and realigned the machine and now it seems ready to go. I hope so. Will find out...
Tightened the set screw on the side. We will see how that works.

Loaded a few 10 mm rounds to test the new powder funnel from Mr. Bullet Feeder I put in yesterday. Seems to work good. Then I changed the press over to 45 acp so I can load some for my wife. ...

Since I have had some problems sizing previously, I tried something new today. I sprayed about 1/3 of the bullets with One Shot case lube and then would size one sprayed bullet and then two non...
I will have to check on that. I didn't notice a copper wire between the sprue plate screw and the set screw and check if the set screw on the side is tight. Thanks

Powdercoated 45 acp and 40 s&w today and used silicon mats to cook on. My wife was kind enough to buy me one and since my cookie sheets are small I was able to cut it in two and use both sheets. ...

Powder coated a bunch of 45 acp and 40 s&w.

That is amazing! I wish I had the ability to make such things. I would love to have one of those.
Used the moulds today and they worked good. I am pleased with that. One of them I can't keep the sprue plate as tight as I would like. I tighten the screw but it just loosens up right away. Is...
Well I used non abrasive Scotch Brite pads and did not do a lot with them and nothing in the cavities. The moulds look much better, but we will see when I use them again.
Life got in my way for a while. Finally got out to the shop and took the moulds out to try to clean off the lead. I was skeptical that I could do it which is maybe part of the reason to put it off....
I have only Delta Elites, but really like them. They are fun to shoot with that extra boost they provide. However, I also like a lot of other cartridges. Since I shoot a lot of semi autos, chasing...
Thanks for the suggestions. I am going out of town for a 3 gun shoot in a couple of days and have things that have to get done before them so I may not get to it until after I come back. However,...
And I need help! I was casting today and on my third pot of 45 acp I noticed there was a small crack between the mould sides. I then looked and the bullets had, for lack of better terms, wings on...

Loaded up 30+ 10 mm rounds with 6.8 grains of Power Pistol to be chronoed when we get a decent day. 7.3 grains averaged about 1150 fps. Want to try to get down some for a fun load.

I spent the last two days building a shelf unit to hold ammo, so spent time cleaning the reloading room. Sawdust everywhere!

Congratulations from another fairly new caster!
I bought a new Talo gun, at least it has the T at the end of the serial number. I looked for an older one a while back and the prices were outrageous. I found this one at a somewhat reasonable...
I usually scour ebay until I find some at a good price with free shipping. It is amazing the difference in prices charged.

I have one die with a bullet still stuck in it, so I will try melting the lead out.
Forum: Cast Boolits
Thanks for all the ideas. I will try to polish the die, but I am not sure I am capable of doing that correctly. I will also lower the temperature of the oven or cook for less time and see if that...

I always size before and after coating. It is after coating that I have the problems. I am coating at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Does this sound right? I have an oven thermometer in the oven...
