Ruger Blackhawk Convertible Buckeye Special 38-40/ 10mm.
I bought the Arsenal version and it is top quality. I went with brass, so it is a little heavy, but casts bullets that work well in my Ruger and Marlin.
They are going to be running a bunch that are pretty much a direct copy of the WWII guns, right down to the ejection port not being lowered. I have put around 600 rounds or so through mine so far,...
This is exactly why I purchased the Lyman dies that came with the M die, perfectly expands cases and I haven't crumpled one in a long time. I use a Lee factory crimp die, and the setup works well...

Doesn't look any worse than my JM Marlin did when I bought it 20 years ago, except mine had a wood stock that eventually split at the wrist. Has always shot very well.
Never used #9 in the 454, but in 20 years of loading for it, I have never had an issue with the small rifle primers, even in -30* temps and midrange to maximum loads of H110 or 296. I use a profile...
I've seen black bear killed with a 22lr to the head. Having seen what my 300 Win Mag does to a bear's skull, I still feel it is a myth, skull isn't as thick as a moose, but it sure has a lot more...
Lived, hunted, camped for years in grizzly country, carried either a 44 Magnum Super Blackhawk with 300gr Speers, or a 45 Colt Ruger Biskey with 300gr Speer Unicore bullets. I was carrying the...
Love mine, put a few Wilson Combat parts in it, not because it needed them, I just wanted them. After 2K rounds, it has never had a single malfunction. I carry mine in a Simply Rugged Cuda, and only...
Seems to me a 10mm is pretty close to a 41 Special as it is. I know in the 1911 platform I am getting over 1200fps from a 5" barrel and 202gr FNGC bullet, of course it is .010" smaller. I cracked...

This has become my go to bullet, from an NOE mold.
So I managed to cast up 35 mostly decent bullets yesterday, shoved them in some mixed 9mm cases and shot them at 26 yards from my Beretta 92. Once I settled down, the last 5 went into 2.5" from my...
I love my Bisley! Only thing I would have preferred was a 5 1/2" barrel, but it is close enough. I have only run about 5 or 6 hundred rounds through it so far, much more pleasant to shoot than top...
I am shooting 360 to 420 gr bullets, I load for a target velocity of 1100 fps.
For myself, I have had the best luck with HS6 and Longshot, for top end loads, 300-MP has performed better than H110, this is in my SBH with the 6 1/2" barrel.
Received a new mold in the mail today from MP molds, I will be using it primarily for my 9mm pistols, a Beretta 92FS, Ruger American Compact, and a Ruger Flattop convertible. Should drop a 125gr...
Been using them with H110 for more than 2 decades to good effect, only large pistol primer I buy.
My Accusport model will place them all in less than 2" every time off a rest if I do my part, this with very undersized throats. Once shot a 1 1/4" group of 10 shots with a Lee 255gr RNFP bullet...
My Ruger Bisley 480 really likes Longshot, for upper end loads, I use 300-MP with very good results. I am shooting a 395gr bullets from Mountain Molds, and a 375gr HPGC offering from an NOE mold.

Hopefully the weather this weekend will cooperate for some preliminary testing. I will start with HS6 and Longshot, Starline 480 Ruger Cases and Winchester LP primers.
I prefer flat based bullets, not as messy to lube.

First couple fired from the Flattop with the ACP cylinder over Unique.
