If you have a lyman mould master lead furnace, #2 alloy melting range will be printed on the temperature dial along with other ranges for pure, WW's, etc.

To clean the lead out, buy a Lewis lead remover from brownells. The work very well.

That's a first. But the wait will be worth it.

I have both .45 hawkins PC and FL plus the .45 Patriot. I use shokeys gold exclusively. Easy to clean and fun to shoot.

I cull when weighing. I sort the field and cull the out of range heavy/light bullets. Works well.

I used 15.5g of unique as well as 16.2g of AA#9 behind 180g rcbs sil. bullet with good results.

Deprime, clean and load. I tumbled for years. Bought a ultra Sonic and recently a drum tumbler. I'll keep the dry tumbler for quick clean, ultrasonic for parts and drum with steel pins for the rest....

I wet tumbled some 45colt brass. 2hrs later...beoootiful shiny brass inside and out.
