Good going! Very interesting round also. I know what you're saying about the steep hill. I've done the same thing with a rope and 4 wheeler. Congratulations

Very nice! Like rking22 said, I use my tractor like you. Saves an old man some work. Congratulations on a nice one.

I have the CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x 39. I shoot the NOE TL313-RF in mine. I haven't slugged mine because that boolit shoots great sized to .313. I like mine very much and have taken whitetails with...

Congratulations! I enjoyed the story and information on your setup. I was also wondering how difficult it would be getting in and out of that hammock setup too :). Thanks for sharing
What they said! Hard to beat the Ruger SR1911. I have 4 1911s. A Ruger, a Springfield RO, a DW Guardian and a RI. The Ruger is my pick of the litter.

My old Remington 582 is very accurate. It's taken a lot of small game for me over the years.
Like Tazman, my favorite load is a H&G 68 clone and WST. I first used WST a few years back during the component shortage and it's become my go to for 45 ACP. I use 4.7 grains behind the Arsenal 453...
In 1911s, I have a Rock Island GI, a Springfield RO, a Dan Wesson Guardian and a Ruger Commander. The Ruger is my favorite. Never any issues with it and is the most accurate of the group.

I don't have nearly the experience as many here but here's what I've stumbled across in the last few years. I used WW for years but they're getting harder to find in my part of the world so have...

I picked up a MK IV, 22/45 target and it's a tack driver. The MK IV, 22/45 Lite I also have isn't nearly as accurate for whatever reason. I did put the Volquartsen trigger kit in each of them. No FTF...
Like many have said, my first was a Daisy BB lever rifle. It was a Christmas present when I was 7 and I went rabbit hunting with my Dad and a neighbor that Christmas day. Both of them would try to...

Thanks fellas.
Forrest r, I feed them here at the house too. I'm sure my yard squirrels venture into the area I hunt but I won't shoot one in the yard. I enjoy watching them from our sun porch,...

Well you know what they say about the genetics of us hillbillys:razz:
Thanks fellas. Squirrel hunting rates right up near the top for me.

I was able to go out for a short squirrel hunt this afternoon and took my Henry. I'm the only one that eats em at my house so two was enough although I saw quite a few. I really enjoy being in the...

I started casting 40+ years ago with a ladle but then went to a bottom pour. I cast from .32, 98 grain to .459, 500 grains with my Lee bottom pour and adjust my heat till I get the fill out I need.

I used my early Christmas present, a CZ 527 in x39 this past week and took 2 whitetails. I used the Lee/Harris design boolit and it did the job but after seeing how well the flat nose RD design works...

A lot bigger than the bucks around my neck of the woods too. Very nice!!!

Very good looking expansion from an "old fashion" "outdated" bullet:-) . Thanks for sharing

Congratulations on a nice deer! I've only recovered one boolit from quite a few animals taken over the years and it was from a 44 mag handgun at 70 yards. I hope you post pictures of yours if you...

Congratulations! If I'm doe hunting I take the smaller deer. Better tasting and easier to handle. I surely wouldn't pass on a nice racked buck but I like eating the smaller ones.
