You sound just like me! My family hates watching a made-from-the-book movie with me. If it shares the title, references the book in the synopsis, by golly it should follow the book!

Captain, I tried WW alloy for Lee REAL in a .50 rifle. Almost had to use a hammer to seat the bullet. Harder alloys are NOT so good for that type of bullet. And mine wasn't as accurate as pure lead...

Krag, I shoot Lee's C225-55gr RF through my AR in 5.56 and my Rem 600 in .222 and they are accurate. I PC them for my AR, and mostly use PC for the .222 now. AR is 1-8 .222 is 1-14.

Bedbugbilly, thanks. I really haven't had a chance to do more than fire the pistol a few shots. But I'm looking forward to finding a good accurate load for it with round balls.

I was gifted a range bag of goodies, and an old CVA 'Hawken' pistol this spring. I finally got to look through the bag and found about 50 of these monsters.
They measure .504" diameter, are 1.250"...

I'll have to stick with my Browning BPS 12ga. Smoothest pump gun I've ever fired. And she points like a dream.

I still use my old Redding BR 2 scale. Goes to 505gr which is enough for my needs over the last28 years, and I have a Dillon beam scale for back up. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Love it in 45acp under a 225gr cast. I have an old Winchester pamphlet that I'll use for 12ga loads. It's on my list to do.

Yes. But searching turned up nothing using HS6 with that boolit in the .243 so I started from scratch. Once I settle on a load, I'll update the final data, maybe help the next shooter

So, a friend gifted me 8lbs of 1980s W540 summer of 2021. December of '21 I acquired a Mossberg Patriot in .243 Win.

I've had no issues using WW RB in my .50 or in my .58..... I actually deliberately cast my .58 Minie` out of WW and it keeps the skirt from deforming with a hotter load. I've ran them up to 120gr of...

My 1952 mfg Remington 721 in 30/06. Traded an all-matching-numbers 1917 Enfield for it, from the original owner. He bought it new in '53. Shoots amazingly, looks great.
