I have a 30WCF. Great gun shoots like a dream and will take a hotter reload than the levers. No feeding problems, had a hornet also once and no feeding problems either. If you find one get it.

RCBS Rockchucker hard to beat and can be easily converted to progressive with their Piggyback unit

Since Cataract surgery I am able to use the peeps and can shoot about as Google as with a scope. 22's and plinking as good as it gets.

I feel the effort to find a vintage Colt or S&W revolver would pay off in buyer satisfaction as well as accuracy and reliability. I am very fond of Colt Police Positive Target models. Good shooters...

I hunted the rats, the bottles, the starlings in the Mulberry trees with a #4 back in the day. Now I shoot from the bench but that is nowhere as fun or as satisfying as a shot made quickly at an...

I have had both in .45 Colt and agree with all the others but I have never seen a repro as Pretty as a 73. My vote is Uberti 73 short rifle. It will do all you want it to.

Hopefully some brass will come your way. In a pinch I had good luck resizing .303 Brit. Little short in the neck but ok.

.257 Roberts, nothing better in its class.

I was there thru the 50's and it didn't seem so bad. I am 75 now and looking forward with the way the country is today, I
am sorry for the young guys who are going to see this country deteriorate...

Start with a Rockchucker is the one you will always have a use for even if you upgrade later. There is a lot to learn as has been said, but it is easier to get it right with a Rockchucker

Hello. Niedner made plenty of a necked down 32-20 called it "Baby Niedner". My father and uncle both worked at Niedner's in the 30'S and both made barrels. Initials of barrel maker may appear on...
