I'm curious which mold your kit came with?

Is the free ammo worth more to you than you gun, or your hands, or your face? Pull them apart and reuse the components and fertilize your lawn with the powder.

So I've been thinking about this for a while and wondered if anyone had tried it.
I'd like to cast bullets of pewter for dummy rounds of cartridges that I want to have lead bullets, my thought...
I want a smith 610 but the going rate seems to be around $1800 these days.

If everything else is the same it is likely that the RN mold drops larger boolits than the TC mold, and as such is sized down less by the case and grips the rifling better
I just got one today, so far it shows promise, the bore is .4295 and the chamber throats are all within .4305 to .4315. Hopefully I'll get to load for it this week and play with it over the weekend.
I'm curious if this can handle 45 win mag on moon clips, dimensionally it should work, and since it's a redhawk it should be strong enough, thoughts?
Any double action revolver with a semi-uncommon chambering. Don't get me wrong, I love 38 special, 357 magnum, and 44 magnum revolvers. But I am a sucker for double action revolvers that are...
I have had my eyes on a 929 for quite some time, the perfect companion to the 625 - so I will have to remember that.
thank you sir, the 2 I first mentioned - 9mm and 380 acp - would be great
Clearly I choose a poor title - I am more interested in a discussion of a"universal" load per caliber, which I realize can be something of a unicorn. Which is what I meant by factory load, because...
So for about several of my revolvers I have a 50 cal can full ammo for each gun, each with a corresponding Dillon tool head with powder measure set up. For example, I have a specific 45 acp load that...
My 625 is my most fired, or at least top 3 most fired guns, I love it. I love everything about it and I especially love loading for it because it is versatile!
i shoot A LOT of the lyman 452460...
Taper crimping will generally increase brass life so that is something to consider, taper crimp will also likely be more than sufficient. You could roll crimp, just seat the bullet slightly deeper...
I had one for about a month, the rifling looked like it had been cut be caveman with some rocks and a stick, nevertheless it shoot a decent 4 inch group, however it grouped a full 2 feet to the left...

+2 for the Lyman, except I am using an older 358242 over 2.8 gr of bullseye with great results from my lcp.
It's all I use. Most of my shooting is in in calibers that use a small primer, so I mostly only have to buy small primers, I actually have seen an improvement in accuracy with target loads of...

Don't over look 7.0 grains of green dot under a 240ish grain bullet. It is my go to load for 429421 and 429452. Accurate, pleasant, and still quite powerful
I've had excellent results from Hodgdon Longshot, it's a newer powder and is readily available

+1, had to have a glock 17, bought a gen4 when they came out, put 2500 rounds through it trying to like it and get used to it, 3 months later I took it back to the shop I bought it from and traded it...

Is that a six pack of simpler times at the bottom? That's some good stuff for the price.

I have it on good authority from one of the old timers that left the forum that bull plate is amsoil 100 to 1 synthetic 2 stroke oil, nothing more. Simply bought by the drum and repackaged. They do...
I often carry a 638 (sometimes an LCP) and I love it. I ignore the hammer lock, I don't mess with it and it doesn't mess with me. As far as loads, mine shoots very well, and close to the sites with a...
Forum: Lead and Lead Alloys
i get great results from 50/50 COWW and Pure Lead with 2% Tin for my wadcutter loads. I used to use straight COWW +2% and my groups tightened by an inch or so when I switched to a softer alloy.
