If we count magical free lead let me add in that I'm shooting 22 LR I got from the CMP for 75 cents a box in the early 2000nds.

Even at 2 cents a round for primers and 1 cent for powder I can't
find lead boolits delivered to my door for less than 8 cents per...

I refilled my range can for my next trip to the range.

When I'm done casting I fill my gang moulds (6&8 cavity) strike off the sprue then without opening them pure two new sprues.
this keeps them safely closed and keeps the moisture out.

At the range that I shoot at they forbid mining the back stop.
But don't care if you pick a few off the surface. So each time
I replace my target I pick up two times as many as I shot.

Coated some commercial cast boolits with 45-45-10 because the blue (hard as heck wax) caused them to lead.
They are sized for my 45 but the blue lube failed. Hope this works.

Most of us can cut back on knee and hip pain just by loosing a few pounds. It helped me.

I got up from my loading bench today and as I walked though shop I could hear my black labs nails clicking on the floor behind me. Nothing unusual about that except he passed away 8 years ago.
