I've usually gotten them out by slugging the bore, but some will cast them in Cerrosafe and, if needed, a large screw extractor works.

The problem with an ultrasonic for cleaning guns is that you have to fully disassemble the gun anyway, why not just clean it by hand? It's actually quicker than waiting for your ultrasonic to work....
